I am Lior, which is kind of like Dior, but with an 'L'.
And… I LOVE GAMES. The vast range of play and games inspires me to learn and grow as a person. They entertain, teach, and reach us on deeper levels. Games evoke nostalgic feelings for those of us who grew up with them; they help us connect, interact, and reflect.
But… games also pose gargantuan challenges. They encompass a mind-boggling span of disciplines, practices, and require collaboration across many different fields of expertise.
Here is where I come in… I am passionate about making this crazy collaboration work. I've made games, battled against them, vanquished some, and fallen to most. I understand the struggle and the joy, and I am determined to bring a positive, collaborative, and gap-bridging attitude to my next dream team.
MY PROCESS AS A PRODUCER
Planning: I detail the roadmap for our journey, prioritizing the development of playable prototypes and employing Agile methodologies.
Conceptualization: I engage with key stakeholders to establish a clear vision for the project.
Keeping it together: I maintain focus on our vision and goals, guiding the team to concentrate on what’s essential to reach the finish line.
I play the games: I actively engage with every prototype we develop, which helps me connect with my team's work, identify potential risks, and maintain a positive spirit.
I learn: I continually iterate on the tools and processes our team needs and wants. My team members are my “users”, and each retrospective is an opportunity to refine my role and become a more effective facilitator for the next sprint or project.
MY PROCESS AS A DESIGNER
“Seamless” Design-er
Research: Learning from past works to avoid reinvention and to innovate meaningfully.
Sketch: Drawing from a pool of ideas, inspirations, and personal interests to shape the concept's foundation.
Prototype: Creating prototypes is my bridge to understanding practicality, allowing for a tangible exploration of ideas.
Test: Through testing, I gather critical feedback and pinpoint areas for refinement.
Iterate: I refine and evolve the experience, iterating to enhance quality and getting closer to the intended experience.
